Farmer Life Coach Bill


I'm a Third Generation Farmer, Certified Law of Attraction Life Coach, Speaker, Facilitator, Husband, Father, Grandfather, and been an Actor, a Pilot, Mayor, County Councillor, Board Director of a $2 billion company, Toastmaster, and a 4-H Leader.


I've had extensive experience living life.


Born in 1953, the youngest of four children. I was an oops; my siblings were way older than me. My early years were full of love and attention, but by the age of eight, my siblings had left home to pursue their own adventures. I soon became the farm boy who had lots of chores to do. My dad had lost his left hand to a shotgun accident when he was 20, but I never considered my father handicapped in any way. He was a hard worker, never complained about his lot in life, and he expected the same from others. I grew up with a good work ethic and a strong moral compass that would serve me well through my adult years.  I grew up on a farm that had a market garden, greenhouse, cropland and assorted livestock, where I learned a lot about dealing with the public, growing plants, and raising livestock..


My first pivotal point in my life came when I was 18. I had an opportunity to go to Australia as a farm laborer for one year. I thought my dad would be supportive as he always wanted to go to Australia, but when I told him of my plan, he said to me, "Don't expect me to keep this farm together while you're gone."

I then knew that if I wanted a farm, especially this farm, I'd better grab it while I can. The traveling would have to wait for later.


At the early age of 19 years, I came down with severe rheumatoid arthritis. I went from one of the strongest kids in the county to a kid that couldn't hold on to a tablespoon. I was devastated. I now became one of those that was dependent on others. Something I prided myself of not being just a few months before. After a year of trying different drugs and treatments, gold shots were my only reprieve. It didn't get rid of arthritis, but it stopped it from moving around and I adjusted to my new condition.


Two years later, at the age of 21, I got married, borrowed all the money we could find and bought the family farm. In the years that followed, we had many ups and downs. We endured crop failures, drought, disease outbreaks, depressed prices, the death of our second child, and other family members, plus mental, emotional, physical, and financial stresses of marriage, farm, and family life.


We also experienced many things that outweighed our problems. We raised crops that would make any farmer proud. We enjoyed raising all different kinds of animals, cows, pigs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, cats, dogs, even yaks, and buffalo. We got to marvel at the pride and care our animals had for their young. The best part was being able to enjoy all this with my lovely wife and our four children. We're all the better for it.


In the last 15 years, my wife Carol and I have visited Australia not once but twice and are doing the adventure traveling I had dreamed of in my youth. Dreams do come true.


Too young to just retire, I went back to school and became a Law of Attraction Certified Coach. It's been a liberating career that has greatly improved my health, my well being and freed me of the constant pain of arthritis . It's been very beneficial for my clients and me.


Life is so much better, when you know you're living with purpose.
